Haydn’s String Quartets

Delgani violist Kimberlee Uwate is offering a two-part seminar on the string quartets of Franz Joseph Haydn. Considered the Father of the String Quartet, Haydn has delighted and inspired generations of chamber music players and lovers with his 60+ contributions to the genre.

Join Kimberlee as she explores the quartets of Haydn from the composer’s light early works to his mature sublime works. The seminar is offered in two parts, the first beginning August 28 and the second November 13. Each part includes six 90 minute seminars over Zoom.
